OWNER, REGISTERED CANADIAN ART THERAPIST & CANADIAN CERTIFIED COUNSELOR

I am a neurodivergent human, therapist, and supervisor who specializes in supporting people with AuHD, ASD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, PDA, SPD, and anxiety.

I use a client-centred, strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach to address therapeutic goals such as increased insight, emotional expression/regulation, executive functioning and self-advocacy. I also support families and help parents learn to better understand their children and to develop a strong relationship based on attunement, attachment, and co-regulation.

I have received training in both Art Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy and my practice is rooted in social justice models, disability rights and informed by over 10 years of working in the disability community.

I use a humanistic, feminist, and arts-based approach when supporting supervisees and help them to find their unique voice.  To book a supervision session please contact me at kathryn@colourwheelcounselling.com.
