Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling, Provisional Status
Families don't stay still. When one person changes, everyone around them has to find a new way of relating.
I work with individuals, relationships, and families navigating change together. My focus is on relational dynamics within families and between partners, identity and self-discovery, and the pressure of becoming someone new while relationships around you adjust. Much of my work involves teens and young adults, and the parents and adults who raise them.
I draw on Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centred approaches. I practice out of Colour Wheel Counselling, under the supervision of Kathryn Schmidt. Sessions are available in person and virtually. If you're a parent unsure whether counselling is the right fit, or how to raise it with your child, I'm happy to connect!
In select instances, I will work with more than one member of a family, with the consent and agreement of everyone involved.
